They began as lavish entertainment for the Italian nobility, passed through the hands of mystics, occultists, artists, priests (really), and revolutionaries, slowly transforming into the symbolic we know today.
Join folklorist and storyteller Rissa Miller for a lively journey through centuries of tarot evolution, to learn the stories tucked between the cards.
Guests will discover how tarot traveled from Renaissance courts to Victorian séances, how esoteric orders reshaped the imagery, and how pop culture helped bring the cards into the mainstream.
